Feel all the feels with the Christopher Robin teaser trailer and poster

Table of Contents

You may have noticed in my last post that Winnie the Pooh is a favorite character of mine. He has been since I was very little, so much so that my dad’s nickname for me was “Pooh Bear.” Because I’m a person and not a bear, the character of Christopher Robin is a bit more likely comparison. Imagine my excitement today, then, when I first got to see the Christopher Robin teaser trailer for the upcoming Disney movie.

Seeing that silly old bear would have been enough to delight me, but the fact that he’s sharing the screen with Ewan McGregor, a favorite actor of mine, as Christopher Robin is icing on the cake.

(It’s possible that I’m also  pleased that Christopher Robin appears to have a daughter as his only child, just as I do. I know that may be taking it a bit far.)

Hearing Jim Cummings gentle voice as Winnie the Pooh speaking so kindly to Christopher Robin really made me feel all the feels. Cue the tears.

According to Disney Studios, “the young boy who loved embarking on adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with a band of spirited and loveable stuffed animals, has grown up and lost his way. Now it’s up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin remember the loving and playful boy who is still inside.”

Here’s the Christopher Robin movie poster:

I’m excited to see and hear the rest of the cast, including Chris O’Dowd as Tigger and Sophie Okonedo as Kanga.
