Don’t you  just love it when two of your favorite things come together? I have very happy memories of visiting both Disney World and Wrigley Field with my family when I was growing up.

Given the Cubs status as lovable losers, I never let my mind wander to what would happen when they won the World Series. But sports champions know that after their victory, there is one thing to do: They “go to Disney World!’’ These photos of the Chicago Cubs celebrating World Series victory at Disney are sure to make you smile.

There has been so much joy and excitement around the city as they became World Series champs for the first time in 108 years, and Disney is the perfect place to keep the victory celebration going. The players rode in a special parade and met Mickey Mouse and Goofy.

I love seeing World Series MVP Ben Zobrist, Addison Russell and Javier Baez on the baseball diamond, but it’s really fun to see the making their way down Main Street U.S.A. too!

How adorable are Mickey and Goofy were dressed in classic baseball uniforms?

I love that they got to spend some time on attractions with their families, including Dumbo. (I know that I’m not an MVP of anything but you can see our family’s Dumbo ride here.)

I’m sure family time is pretty important for the Cubs after an incredible busy and stressful playoff season.

I’m really hoping that they flew the W from a turret of Cinderella’s Castle. For those who are not Cubs fans, the team flies a white flag with a a large, blue “W” on it from Wrigley Field when they win. “Fly the W” is a rallying cry for fans.

Being a Cubs fan hasn’t always been easy, but the joy and emotion experienced in the past few weeks makes it all worth it, and that Mickey Mouse joined in the fun makes it that much sweeter!
