“Has the new adaeauty and the Beast trailer come out yet? Have you seen it?” my teen daughter asked as she walked in the door from school today.
I have to say that this is the first time she’s been keeping track of a trailer release, which should tell you just how excited she is for this movie. She’s not the only one. I’m counting down the days, too. While I had to tell her no, that it wasn’t out when she asked this afternoon, it did release this evening! It was worth the wait! You can see it here:
This trailer features not only new footage but also the duet by Ariana Grande and John Legend of the iconic song Beauty and the Beast. Swoon!
“IT’S SO GOOD!” she declared after seeing it, followed by, “How am I going to wait until March?”
That’s the million dollar question, my girl.
We’ll make it, but she’s already asking about a midnight show to be among the first to see it. Can’t say that’s a bad idea.
I can’t wait to see how director Bill Condon brings the story and characters audiences know and love to life in a stunning, cinematic event. The trailer appears to stay very close to and do justice to the animated film.
Beauty and the Beast will be out in theaters everywhere on March 17, 2017. Countdown is on!
