Check out the trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story

Table of Contents

Leia: “I love you.”

Han: “I know.”

That’s one of my teen daughter’s very favorite scenes from Star Wars, with the last line being quintessential Han Solo. (Said teen also just notified me that whenever she takes an online quiz telling you which Star Wars character you are, she gets Han. Should I be concerned? I thought so, but that’s a topic for another post.)

It is no surprise that my whole family was excited to see the ad for the movie Solo: A Star Wars Story last night during the Super Bowl and particularly thrilled to see the first trailer for the film that gives us a look at Han’s past. Check it out here:

My husband does not quite identify as Han like my daughter does. He’s most interested to see Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian

And am I the only one getting a serious Audrey Hepburn vibe from this image of Emilia Clarke as Qi’Ra?

I cannot wait to see my favorite, Chewbacca:

Here’s the scoop from Walt Disney Studios:

Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo befriends his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and meets the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.

The film stars Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Paul Bettany.

Solo: A Star Wars Story opens in theaters everywhere May 25th – that’s Friday of Memorial Day weekend. What a perfect way to kick off a blockbuster summer!
